Jack’s New York Deli to open Charlotte location
Franchisee Mark Nichols is aiming for a soft opening this June for his Jack’s New Yorker Deli in Uptown Charlotte.
Jack’s New Yokrer Deli is opening a location in Uptown Charlotte, its first outside the Atlanta market.
The eatery, which specializes in New York style sandwiches, soups and salads, is taking 2,500 SF formerly occupied by Therapy Cafe at the Transamerica Square building on North Tryon Street.
Nichols spent more than 20 years working for Lowes Co. and The Home Depot Inc. He was introduced to Jack’s New Yorker Deli while employed at Home Depot’s corporate office in Atlanta and pursued the opportunity to bring the concept to North Carolina.
“Charlotte kind of fells like my backyard,” says Nichols, who is from Wilkesboro and has the rights for additional locations in the Carolinas. “I want to get back up that way.”
David Tschirhart and Adam Williams with Legacy Real Estate Advisors represented Nichols, and Chris Vasbinder of Lincoln Harris represented the landlord, Bank of America Corp.
